Sound Drip TV runs sounddrip.tv and broadcasts urban music and culture to audiences around the world. This policy explains what we collect when you visit the site or interact with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection lean and we do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

• Newsletter email. When you sign up for drops and updates, we store the email address you give us, plus the date you subscribed.
• Contact and submission details. If you reach out through our contact form or submit music, we receive your name, email, and whatever you put in your message or links.
• Usage and analytics data. Like most sites, we log basic technical information such as pages viewed, referring links, approximate location, device type, and browser. This is aggregate data that helps us understand what people watch and read.

How we use your information

• To send you newsletters, premieres and event news you asked for.

• To measure how the site performs and to improve what we program and publish.

Third parties we work with

We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run the site and deliver our content. Each one only handles the data it needs to do its job.

• Vercel. Hosts the website and processes server logs so pages load fast and stay online.
• Supabase. Stores newsletter signups and contact form submissions in our database.
• VivaLive TV. Powers our Channel 9 live stream. When you watch through their app, their own privacy terms apply.
• YouTube embeds. Some pages embed videos from YouTube. When a video loads, Google may set cookies and receive data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and tracking

We use a limited number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to measure traffic in aggregate. Embedded players from YouTube and our streaming partner may set their own cookies once you press play. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as smoothly if you do.

Your rights and choices

• You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send.
• You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you.
